T.join's IT system is based on a wide
area network of IBM AS400. Each branch is connected
to headquarters' central server via Internet ISP. Therefore,
T.join is able to provide its customers of up to date
information on parcel movements.The tracing system provides
the ability to scan all parcels into and out of any
physical location. In conjunction with the web reporting
mechanism, the system provides information on the whereabouts
and tracking history of any given parcel.
Customers can even access the information through Internet
or a single phone call. We use telecom and hand-held
scanners to transfer the shipping data to our headquarters
immediately. The technologies also make our dispatch
system more efficient and flexible.
To enhance its service, T.join has
heavily invested in leading-edge technology, and decided
to use MK Logistics, an advanced supply chain solution
of Computer Associates.With the implementation of MK
Logistics, T.join can provide clients, as a 3PL, such
services as order management, advanced warehouse management,
inventory monitoring and control, information interchange
via various ways, packaging, labeling, RMA management
etc.
Benefits will be realized through reduced inventory
and associated working capital, reduced implementation
time and costs, added flexibility in operations, improved
planning processes, and shortened time to market.

The change life-styles of 21st
century have necessitated changes in distribution systems
as well. In response to the trend toward product-diversity,
low-volume transportation, increased frequency of deliveries
and " just-in-time" supply requirements, it
has been necessary to further adapt terminal functions
to those demands. To meet these needs, advanced automated
systems, combining the benefits of flexible layout and
high sorting capacity, are to be installed at our hub
terminals. Such advanced systems will fully operate in
Lin-Co, Chung-Lee, Taichung, Chang-Hua, and Tainan terminals

Ambient-temperature logistics service
was launched in 1990. There are 13 service branches,
7 regional distribution centers and 173 vehicles all
over the island providing logistics services for our
clients within Taiwan and around the world.
Customized delivery
The ambient-temperature logistics service is different
with our less-than-truckload service. It can tailor
a dispatch process to meet client's order fulfillment
requirement.
Long haulage
By our own vehicle fleet, no matter how large quantity
it has, we can deliver goods to everywhere just in time.
Channeling and Distribution
There are 13 service points; each point is in charge
of the distribution among one or two counties. Unlike
the less-than-truckload transportation service, our
logistics service connects the channels between stores/outlets,
stores/suppliers, and suppliers' collection.
Warehousing management
We offer a variety of warehousing services, such as
picking, kitting, repacking, unpacking, documentation
management, order processing and stock management. All
of those services make our clients free from concerning
about their warehousing management, which might increase
their cost and miss-allocate their resources other than
their core competency.

dual-temperature trunk vehicles with chiller and freezer

Delivery
Dual-temperature trunk vehicles help our customers reduce
their transportation cost. The delivery temperature can
meet what our customer's needs. Besides, we cooperate
with Industrial Technology Research Institute to invent
insulation containers, which can accommodate goods with
low-temperature environment and be transported by normal
truck. While the consignee has no refrigerator or temperature-controlled
warehouse, the insulation container can be used to maintain
the temperature within 24 hours.
Logistics management
We are able to provide storage, cross docking, distribution
service to retailers or any kind of business. Our flexible
policy makes us to meet our clients' needs, such as labeling,
pick and pack, cross-docking, return, repack, kitting,
unpacking. All of those processes are implemented under
our temperature-controlled environment.
Superior Facilities
Our automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) at
Lincou International Logistics Center provides sophisticated
control monitoring systems to ensure point-to -point tracking
of goods. The system was installed in a frozen room, where
temperature is controlled lower than -25ˇăC. The whole
room was evenly installed temperature sensors to record
the real-time temperature, so that we can control quality
very well. The system has 2000 pallets capacity.
